Hollywood stunner chalice losing flesh

My Hollywood stunner chalice has been growing like crazy for the past 2 years and has never showed any signs of dying or receding until a few days ago. It looks like something has been eating at it. If anyone knows anything I’d really appreciate the help. This chalice is the show piece in my tank and would hate to lose it.

Mine grows like crazy as well but suffers at higher alk. I’m sure someone will chime in and tell you they keep them at a dKh of like 13 or something, but if you’ve had a spike above normal, that might be a contributing factor.

Might have nothing to do with it at all, but just offering a thought because you asked.
