I have a Hollywood Stunner Chalice a little smaller than a soccer ball that was being too aggressive with things close to it. I managed to pop it off the rock and move it to better place. Needless to say, it is angry and slimed A LOT. All my other corals have their filaments out like they are fighting. I have a strong skimmer and I have turned my power heads on full blast to try to keep any slime from settling. Is there anything else I can do to help? Also, the stunner sliced my finger. Should I be worried about that?

connie mine use to do this also when it got angry so I use to take a hose and try and skim what I could as if I was doing a micro water change. It helped keep it away from others plus gave some me piece of mind in case that stuff what potent. As for cutting your finger id try some peroxide or running water over it to clean it out then watch it over the next day or two to make sure its ok

No problem ive learned any nic or cut I get doing tank work to clean it immediately. Had a bad encounter with zoas a few years back and ive been super cautious ever since

Yeah, I've heard horror stories of infections. It's my index finger too! I can't lose that digit...I use it yelling at kids...lol

LOL! I give mine the LOOK and point. You would think I had just choked him with the way he looks at me after that lol
