Holy Grail Fish

Since I started the hobby in 2014, shortly after setting up my IM Fusion 10 I saw another nano tank owner that had greenbanded gobies. These guys have been exceedingly rare up in Canada, to the point I tried sourcing them myself then found out ORA stopped breeding them, nothing for a long time available. Fast forward and I finally found some in May 2018.

I considered them my bucket list fish, and they're just a small nano goby

I haven't seen them available up here since.

my holy grail fishes would be any wrasse that I can get to stay alive in my tank after QT. I have lost 3 wrasses over the past 2 years, they're seem to be very delicate. My other holy grail fish would be Japanese Moray eel. I know These fishes are easily available with the prices of some fishes they're holy grail to me. Any fish over $500 should be considered holy grail.

I got four in, three made it to the DT, those two paired off and I don't know what happened to the third wheel

. Might have just been age, it was visibly larger than the others by quite a bit, and I know they only live a couple years~ish.

Yeah it can be so hard to judge fish age can't it. I'm glad that two paired off happily though

My holy grail would be a chrysurus angel, a pair of scribbled angelfish, a passer angelfish and an achilles tang.

I already have a chrysurus in QT. I’m just waiting if i can get my hands on the other angels. As for the achilles, well, can’t get one for the meantime as I have a PBT in my tank.

I wanted something to share a tank with my catsharks for a while but could not find anything interesting that could live at 55 degrees until I came across this pair. The female can be seen in the lower image above the shark and below the starfish. Fifty-five is a little cold for them, but they acclimated well. Probably the only pairing of ornates and chain cats world-wide, but it works.

Love these guys but just can't commit to a chiller

It was me giving into my wife. He's been doing insanely well. Ears like a pig, super personable no one messes with him.
