So I was just at aquashella and picked up a few things one of those was sold to me as a holy grail hammer but i read that it’s hard to tell the difference between a HG and a gold hammer because they both have green stems?
I can’t find too much info on this online and was hoping someone who knows a little could chime in?
Thanks

Right I couldn’t tell much of a difference between the 2 HG hammers they had for sale and a few gold ones they had other then the stems where greener.
I was kinda hoping to start a HG collection lol

Curious, were they charging more for the one they called hg?

Why did you choose it sitting right next to other golds if it looked the same?

Yes the hg were pricer No they had greener stems and the 2 hg were separated on a different frag rack.
I honestly believe they thought (maybe still is) a hg when I came back the next day to pick it up the other guy was there and said “These hg are hard to find”
I guess I’ll try to take a better picture and if there not then live and learn.

This is my holy grail hammer.

I am confused on whats a holygrail hammer. I have seen dark stem ones with greenish yellow tips called holygrail and I see green stem ones with yellow tips called holy grail! Anyone know which is true holygrail? Or is it just a name slapped on it because of the colors and is no true one!

Which ever one you're willing to pay more for is a holy grail. In the end it was just made up by some guy.

Yellow hammer imo. If you slap a fancy name on it the price doubles.
Some people will slap the name on a bland coral to charge more. But a real holy grail such as WWC holy grail, should have rare color morphs like green base, gold stems but purple or blue hammers. It looks amazing. See WWC's below. Its STUNNING. (other people just call gold hammers holy grail to charge more and they are nothing special)
