I just picked up a holy grail I wasn't looking for one are they that hard to find?
Mine looks like the bottom one color wise

That was an hour after introduction by far the nicest one I have ever owned for it for 100 dollars two full heads and one growing

For $100 ,you either got lied to,got sold a regular gold torch, or hit the jackpot lol, you might want to check your vendor and see if it really a holy grail torch , they are pretty rare in the hobby , a single head can go for $500, my lighting isn't ideal but this is what they look like under LED.....

To be totally honest the best thing you can do is buy from a trusted dealer , I bought these forum Reef Raft, i can't think of a forum that would help you identify torches most of the forums just show off different colors.......

I've bought plenty torch corals that claim to be holy grail and they weren't, you can look back at some of my older post ,but they are truly really hard to get..

I did, just been about a year and a half and I was just starting out, so wasn't good and getting specific names of stuff, if I liked it, I bought it kind of thing , I don't think mine would be anything special, but it doesn't look like a lot of torches Ive seen recently ....

Yea and that's how the hobby should be ! I do the same also ,if it looks good to me I get it ! I seen these torches a while back and could never find them anywhere but I finally have them !

Thanks ,I'm ready for it to get bigger and form a colony , I like unique corals and I love torches ,these were at the top of my list !
