Holy Grail torch

I would agree with this and disagree. Confusing right. Yes I went to local fish store that had holy grails for sale for 100 a head. And my friend has a holy grail that you can see for 100 feet away. Problem with common names is that any green and gold torch retail shops will call holy grail

I took my wife to the lfs the other day and they had a gem tang and yellow tang in the same tank. I told her look at that beauty I wish I can get it but it’s a 1200
Fish. She says that yellow fish is beautiful. I said no the black with white dots.

But hey if I made fu money. I would have that in a second

I thought I had a clear understanding but then the last couple posts have me confused again. So is the holy grail that much different than your standard gold torch, indo or aussie? Something I need to acquire or close enough to what I already got that I'm just paying for a name at that point?

Holy grail is a common name of a really bright gold indo torch with green
Aussie golds normally don’t have green in them

One big give away to a "Holy Grail Torch Coral" is blue tips , they always have blue tips , I've sold plenty of mine off to the community , they are really bright in color and pop. You pay for color.

Yes. The brightness of the goal and green in it.

Green tips are way too common in the hobby , green tips tend to be less gold also.

Don't forget the term "Holy Grail" is generic , it doesn't have to have a green base , remember you pay for color, a fully gold very bright indo torch can go for a pretty penny simply because it's not common in the hobby

Lol I love torches , I've been collecting for a long time ,private collectors even some vendors I have so many I don't remember where I get them sometimes.
