So been having some problem with some flying ants and fleas in my house :/ as is very dry season here in Texas I can’t fumigate since my reef tank is here in the house, and don’t want to kill anything in my tank ...
So my wife went out and bought this thing called home defense and put it all around the inside of the house and outside it’s really killing a lot of Bugs but I am scared that some could fly into the tank ... with this chemical harm my tank should I just run some fresh carbon every couple of days ....
she didn’t p any around the tank but she did put maybe a couple feet away ;/ so scared

I use the same stuff around my tank and even in my stand. Just make absolutely sure you don't airolize it near the tank or even in the same room. If you are spraying your base boards spray right up against them to avoid getting it in the air. Don't spray it from the hip like a cowboy

She sprayed only the corners like the floor frames nothing up

Yeah you're good. I'm about to start spraying here too I do it every 3 months and spray my whole stand inside and out, just be careful not to get it in the air and air out the room until it drys.

I also have used this for several years now, maybe 5 give or take, and my reef is still alive! I avoid 6’ or so around the tank.
