I am good to buy some of these to help with my move? Is there anything I need to do to them prior to use?

A little dish detergent and a good rinse and you're good to go.

I've never used dish detergent on them. I just use vinegar and water. The vinegar will strip off the production oils.

Thank s guys...How long do you think i will be good to store either RO or Saltwater in them? Would a week or 2 be ok?

Theoretically you could store DI or RO water indefinitely in them as long as they are sealed up tight. Saltwater probably too, but it depends on how elevated some levels are as to whether some precipitation may occur.

If you store your saltwater for a long time like that I would make sure you test your alkalinity/Ca before using it again. Just to be safe. Otherwise you should be ok.
