Home depot totes for transferring tank?

I have used these totes as fresh water ponds before (doubled up) so I know they will hold water, but any reason to think they aren't reef safe?

I will need to temporarily store my corals, fish, and rocks while upgrading my tank.

They say they're polypropylene which is safe.
Who knows about any other additives, anti-mildew coating, whatever?

Personally, I'd hose them out good and use them temporarily without concern,,, but that's just me.

should be just fine, I prefer using the brute trash cans with dolly for these applications as they are really easy to roll around

I used those exact ones to hold all my livestock and corals for a week while I had new floors put down.

Perfectly reef safe.

I did drill small holes in the lids to allow air in.

I've got 12 of them and have moved a Lot of tanks with them. Also used them for a sump while modifying mine.

The giant white one? LOL it's my moms favorite thing in my tank. I bought that many years ago as a bleached RFA(it was stark white, and the only reason I bought it. Not knowing it was severely bleached. I was a noobie) about 4 inches across. It has changed to that nice cream color. I have had it many years, and it has never moved.

It's about the size of a large saucer, maybe 10 inches across It has mommied several babies over the years.

They will fine. Just maintain heat and flow.
If it's more than a couple days lights would probably be needed.

I've used those exact ones for my tank transfer and they were fine. On the plus side you have some extra storage when you're done
