Hello everyone!!! So I am switching from my 20g HOB way over crowded tank to my drilled 75 custom DIY sump fuge and just set up a QT about 3 weeks ago and tested it with a petco monti and passed as nudies we’re on my last monti I purchased so wanted a challenge... but it was xlean and with I got the Jedi for 19 as well. Got a leprechaun. Anyways. So now my main 20g tank as I use it for everything till it’s QT’d again and goes into my 75g. So I got bryopsis and bubble algae yay!! At the event.. not surprised and is y I set up the QT and if needed I’ll pull the pure out of it becomes infected with sad algae. Vs treat dry... I feel..? Opinions on that cause I can restock the water and marinepure from my sump. Any feedback on that I’d appreciate as it popped in there. Now my main tank is on a 3x dose and saw 4x was the real number on a page on here that killed it all!!!! And I have both so y not. I did a 2 week as I thought it was a short treatment then learned I wasted 2 caps and time but it cleaned up 70% and me helping so saved a lot of my corals lose of tissue. Was going 2 scrape the glass and was told let it die then scrape the glass cause bryopsis is on the glass. ALSO WHILE LOOKING I FOUND CLOWNFISH EGGS!!!! I’m at a lose of words for nature’s wrath as I’m breeding them 2yeas now and the phyto and cyclops are back order till the 15th. Soooo I’m waiting and will have 2 use prolly 20$ algae barn and pray I can get some culture going with no f/2 or food so what can I feed the culture till? Also what would u do set up a 1 micron net around them or scrape the coroline off and pray they stayed attacked or whole. I have a strong+ tunze so i will use that as a holder so I don’t slip and hold it from inside tho. The mag will b for slip and grip. I pinched my fingers skin bad on day 1. Strong+ u don’t mess with. So the questions as I’m rambling cause it’s late I’m tired and I’m overwhelemed at this point with eggs and I treated last night....so I hope they don’t get effected. So Queations were drain dry clean and reset is best on QT? The dose amount to kill both bubble being harder so will kill bry 1st? Scraping eggs vs constructing a bag around them I’ll ask on another page 2? Food for a phyto culture till mine arrives and Likelihood of any surviving haha? Thanks!! and here come the pics.
