What's the best way to turn clams, shrimp and scallops into bite sized fish morsels?
I went to the market today and bought the the above captioned and tried to "chop" them into fish size bites, it's harder than it sounds.
I cut them onto pieces and tried using a food processor but all I got was a slurry.

Any and all tips welcome!!!

I roughly chopped mine up then put it all into a ninja bullet and mixed for about 5-7 seconds. Came to a nice consistency and the fish loved the end result. Wife however did not lol...

I've been trying out several ways lately and found this to be the best option so far,
plus you get to pound out some aggression while you're at it!;Punch;Playful In other words it does take more work than flipping a switch, but I find it to be worth it and the fish love it.

I buy the mixed frozen seafood which includes squid, shrimp, clams, oysters and mussels. No need to thaw it, just chopped it while frozen. No slurry, just delicious bite sized morsels.;Drool!

Where are you getting the mixed seafood at the grocery store?

Well guys, I took your advice, used half frozen food and the Ninja and the pieces were a great size for the fish.
My wife looked at me and instantly said to go order her a new Ninja.

It was worth the scowl lol

Sounds like you need to go to chef school? :)

Freeze them and then use a fine grater, or just chew them up and spit them into the tank?

I used to make food with brine shrimp, spirulina (power) and diced seafood. I froze that into cubes and tossed a cube in and the fish ate it. That food was a certainly more fresh than the store cubes that I know use, but I got tired of chewing.
