I bought it as a tiny little frag I believe a year ago
It’s look amazing man! Care to share your tank parameters? I’ve got a piece that looked amazing when I first added it but has since turned all green... just playing the waiting game while it settles in and colors up

Its under t5/led my guess would be in about 450 par.

Prettiest coral in the hobby.

Anybody that knocks it....is probably just salty because they can't afford it

No idea why this is always thrown out. Could it possibly be that people just like different things or have other favorites? I don't judge people who spend 1800 or so on a fish or boutique coral - it is none of my business. I don't want people judging me when I have a nice dinner and spend the same amount on a bottle of wine. We all have our vices but when I see these posts it bugs me because people have different tastes in corals and price points. There isn't any salt about it.

If someone wants to pay a lot of money for a Acropora Tenuis more power to them. I'll leave the homewrecker to the skimpy outfits, escorts, or the song by Marina and the Diamonds. But if you could stop with the salt comments everyone would be better off.

Let me guess. You think b/c someone drives a BMW that they are a "baller" [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]?

I'm sure there are ppl here who buy a $1000+ coral/fish, but complain they have no retirement savings (or blame rich ppl) for their sucky financial situation.

To be fair most the crazy high acro prices are paid because the opportunity to grow and sell the frags paying for not only the coral but even making a profit. It does inflate new release prices, but of course drives them down eventually.

I am not a seller, but I know quite a few people locally that spend a lot on coral but make enough to at least pay for the hobby so while at 1st glance it might appear financially irresponsible it can be the exact opposite.

It's nice to see colonies of homewrecker that still look impressive. Good to see the hype hold up after Walt Disney turned out to be "meh" for most.

I agree with everything except the “meh WD” comment. It’s a great looking coral if the conditions are right.

Perhaps more that it didn't live up to the original expectations. Here is a photo from the original vendor. I have never seen one appear like this in person or even with other realistic pics. Not that they are not pretty. Just not like expected imo.

That makes sense, but I have seen colors like that at a local fish store. His WD is getting 800+ par, which is difficult to achieve success from average hobbyist.

Never said those buyers didnt profit from it. My local guy does big time. Just was referencing his seemingly silly assumption.
