It was less packed 6 months ago but growth has been very good since then hence the "packed" look. I am about to start the process of trimming the colonies that are touching each other.
 
what is the equipment you are using and what are your numbers at? if you dont mind me asking. looks beautiful

I just use the basics :)

Kamoer 3-channel dosing pump, Skimz SK251 in-sump protein skimmer, JBJ auto top-up, Eheim 1262 return pump, 4 Tunze wavemakers and ATI sunpower T5 fixture.

dkh is 7.5 which is the only parameter I check regularly. Calcium was 420 during my last check which was 3 weeks ago. NO3, PO4 and Magnesium is unknown.
 
I am more partial to mixed reefs but that is some very nice lookin stix i must say.

Very nice dude i havent made the SPS jump yet but when I do I hope it looks close to your's nice colors and beautiful pieces.
 
what type of lighting you running? is this a ulns system? do you dose anything special like zeovit? last kalkwasser, 2 part or calcium reactor


i agree that is a packed tank i like tanks that look like that
