Hood removal from Red Sea Max 130C

hi everyone, I am thinking about removing the hood from my RSM130c and mounting 2 AI Primes with the arms from the back of the tank. has anyone ever done this or seen it done? I would have to build an enclosure for the skimmer that would be sticking up out of the back to make it a clean look. Is it work the trouble to get better lighting in there or should I just mount 2 AI Primes (or a Nanobox dual) in where the stock T5 lights used to be? thanks in Advance!
