I’m looking to hook up all my equipment into my basement sump, pumps, UV light, chiller, etc. I am looking for any advice in doing this from equipment from sizing of plumbing etc. Photos of setups are awesome too! If you hooked up in basement what would you do differently maybe? I have a 90 gallon tank reef ready. As far as my pumps I know I am gonna need new ones probably a sump too. Looking for any advice would be appreciated. Running out room under stand plus to old to keep going under there

Hi Mike,

Never did a basement build before, never had a basement. :) Can say you will need a sump, preferably one large enough to hold your usual water level plus any back flow in the pipes should you have a power outage. A strong pump to handle the head height.

After that, let see if anyone else is around that runs basement sumps.
