Hey guys!
So I have one phosban 150 reactor hooked up with GFO and I have a second I'd like to hook up with carbon. I only have one ball valve to control the flow. Should I order a second ball valve? Or is the flow rate about the same? If I do hook them up in series which should go first?

If I do want a separate ball valve for each should I run a T-splitter after the pump or get two separate pumps

Thank you!

Definitely separate the two. I used to have the same setup...I tried them in parallel and it didn't have great success. If there was no option, I'd probably use GFO first as flow is more important to prevent it from becoming a brick.

When I did them separately I just split them off of my return pump and had no issues. If you get a strong enough pump I don't see any reason you couldn't run both of them off of one pump. Just be careful with the tops on those reactors. I've had the nipples break off quite a few times and its a pain to get new ones.

Thank you! I zip tied the top rubber L's on top of them. The pump runs about 264 GPH do you believe that will be enough?

Yes it's tumbling well. If I get carbon running in the other one can I then get rid of the bagged carbon in the sump I use?
