Hello! Sir Patrick here, aka Chris.

Was looking for a new reefing site to join and become part of. I cannot log into Michiganreefers any longer...for some reason my charter email isn't compatible with the sites email to reset a forgotten password, and my second choice in forums, captive reefs, seems to have died completely in activity. I enjoy reefcentral on occasion, but find it rather overwhelming. Heard good things about this one- so here I am.

Some background-

Founder of the Ann Arbor area Reef club (no longer exsistant due to lack of local interest)
Originator of the Ann Arbor area Swap and Social Gathering (still going after 7 years, but not ran by me)
Ex-Moderator at Captivereefs.com
Been keeping saltwater since the early '80s (Me and my fathers tanks from the east and west coasts)
Been keeping reef on and off since 1998 here in Michigan
Currently running a Nano cube-24 reef and the start of a 150g fish/soft coral tank that's been running with only live rock for close to a year.

I am looking forward to joining, learning from and becoming part of this reefing community.

Welcome! This will be the best place you have come to! This isn't just a forum or a site though. It's a big family! We will help with anything you send our way! Sounds like you have had an amazing start at this hobby and I hope you keep that passion as it is a great one to have! Once again welcome!

Welcome home, you will love it here!

I have purchased a couple tanks from Ann Arbor area (I'm in central Indiana) over the years, they may have been members of your group!

Anyway, glad to have you!
