LoLz... it was a month long process... I just moved the final pieces today.. I work on it when I have time... I know my wife will appreciate the extra room in the living now that the buckets are gonna be out of the way... I've had the buckets laying around there for several days now....

but, reef tanks look so strange without any colored sticks sticking up and out into the top of the tank.
what you need, is just 1 sps stag coral, and stick it right in the middle and let it grow up and out. that would look killer, and give alot of contrast to all those colored matts of corals growing on the ground...lol

Looks good and as for SPS I say get 2 Efflo or soli frags and glue them to the back wall either side of the over flow. And when that duncan in the middle gets big and happy you will have the blues behind teh greens and browns of the Duncan!
All in all very sweet!

Thanks all for the kind remarks...
I really do like the new look but still plan on improving it coral placing to even out the colors... I might try to get some easy to care colored sticks later on, but we'll see...

250w MH DE w/ 14k Phoenix bulb... I do plan on adding (2) 24" T-5 actinics for more coloration...
I plan on adding another NanoStream on the opposite side to create an even more random flow.. but for now, I only have a return blowing in the back rock work...

I'm going with T-5's coz I've heard really good things about them from fellow local reefers and I think they'll be cheaper to run in the long run coz the bulbs are suppose to be good for 12-14 months if I remember correctly..

Marv IMO T-5s are a great light source from what I hear but if you really want MORE color the VHO Actinics are WAY more colorful, but not as much for growing IMO.
