My waterbox marine x 60.2 is only a month old and I really hope this isn’t what I believe to be the beginning of the seam failing. I hardly see anyone having issues with waterbox and their seams so this is worrying to me. What do you guys think?

Is that a chip or does it look like a bubble,?

I have no advice to offer other than if it were me and the tank was that new I'd contact the manufacturer and ask that question. Also, if it is failing better to know now than after it's stocked with a lot of livestock (I'm assuming it isnt already).

Could be where they placed a spacer to ensure the silicone thickness was appropriate...

There isn't any damage to the outside of the glass its just on the inside its like a bubble.
Send a pic to waterbox and ask for warranty purposes.

I wouldn't be too concerned myself. I'd just keep an eye on it for a few months to see in any change. If no change, the good to go IMO

I contacted them and waiting to hear back. Just wanted to get some peoples opinion in case they tell me to go pound sand lol. Only thing in the tank is 3 fish and 1 small frag so no big deal if I have to take them out. Just weird since I don't hear about waterbox having bad seams.

Also, the more concerning bubbles are the ones on water side and exposed to water. I watched some slowly grow on my 300 until I started having nightmares about the tank exploding. Had to give it away....

a good inspection is worth its weight in gold. If you dont see alot of air bubbles, and the silicone is solid and clear its most likely a good seam. like others said , maybe send a picture to the company with a question.
