Started noticing a couple spots on my hippo, and some kind of blotches. Pictures aren't very good. I apologize. But if someone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Agreed with above.. From the pictures, it looks like the specks are protruding from the hippo enough to where i may also suggest lymphocystis (clearer pictures would be needed to say for sure). If it doesn't look like a more cauliflower-type growth, i would pursue ich treatment as soon as possible.

If you can .. try too get some better photos .. are there any other symptoms .. hiding from light ? Scratching on rocks ? Swimming into flow of a powerhead .. ?? Head twitching ..
how long have you had him ?
Was he QT d ?
The more info you can provide the better !

I'll try to get another pic when I get home, he's been in the tank for almost two months he was quarantined before I put him in, he has a corner behind a rock that he likes to hang out in usually when he's not swimming around. I haven't seen him breathing heavy, and I don't see him swimming into the powerhead, he seems pretty normal besides the spots. When I get home I'll take him out and quarantine him, I guess that means I'll have to take my other fish out of there as well.

Any suggestions on what I should treat them with, I thought I read somewhere to not treat hippos with copper, I might be wrong though. Read so much online it all starts to blend together.

Shouldn't be too hard to catch my clowns and my hippo. They come up to my hand anytime I feed more worried about trying to catch my bicolor dottyback in there without taking the whole tank apart.

If you are sure he has ich or velvet, treating with Coppersafe or Cupramine would be the best course of action: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/copper-treatment.193343/

You'll also need an appropriate copper test kit: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/copper-test-kits.257924/

Gosh I can’t tell anything from the photos but hippo often come with ich and/or velvet. Quarantine in copper either way! :)
