So one of the fish for my upcoming 50g build is a Tilefish from the Hopololatilus Genus, specifically A Skunk (aka red stripe) or a Yellow Tilefish. I do want to have some different shrimps in the tank, mainly a Pederson Cleaner and Caribbean yucatan cleaner shrimps as i personally find them very attractive. They both average around an inch, and the tiles get a max size of about 4.5-5". I messaged LA, and they said they wouldn't recommended it as Tilefish eat shrimp as apart of their diet. But, I do know LA can sometimes be spoty with their info, so I'm asking the people who are experts in Hopoloatilus, what do you think about this? Have you kept Tiles and Shrimp together? Thank you

Hi, I noticed nobody has responded to your post yet. I have not kept tilefish with those two species. I would be careful about housing them with small shrimp. The partial immunity from predation that these two species have for being a cleaner may not extend to a Pacific fish who has not been exposed to them before. I do recall keeping tilefish with large Lysmata shrimp in the past.
