Does anyone know what the small red horn-like growths are next to my coral? I can't find anything like it on any forum or image gallery.

I also want to confirm what the green algae is... I wouldn't describe it as hairy but more like a surface algae that does not scrape off easily.

Thanks
Ian

Vermetid snails. They’re bad and should be crushed or super glue the holes

Thanks James! I would have never figured that out. After some reading, I’ve learned that they are really difficult to eradicate. I hope the superglue works, as the next options are crazy!
