So my grandma has a 15 gallon tank that had been up fire about 4 months. She has horrible green cloudy water and I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas?

UV and a good skimmer did it for a friend of a friend who ran into the same issue...

Do you have any info on her system and the equipment she runs?

Its a 14 gallon bio cube running the stock power head. It has 14 lbs of live rock and 20 lbs of live sand. It is running carbon that I just changed on Sunday when I did a 50% water change. only use rodi water. Lights are only on about 7 hours a day and she feeds pellet food every other day. I will go test get water as soon as I can. livestock includes 2 tiny clowns, a fire shrimp and a small cuc with hermits and snails. She also has some xenia, a red mushroom and a few zoas.

Use RO/DI or equivilant water. Shut off or black out your tank for 3 days. And get a mean Skimmer. Once your 3 days is up, change 50% of your water.

grandma?? that thing is yours !!! dont lie lol

is it really the water that is that color or is it the glass??

Ha ha nope not mine! I wouldn't lie about it. Mine is beautiful! Ha ha.
