I have 1" inside diameter tubing on hose barbs. The outside diameter, as best as I can tell, is 1.25" before it goes on the hose barb. What size plastic hose clamps should I get?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Mcmaster carr's Plastic hose clamps are sized based the outside diameter of the hose it is going on. 1inch I'd with a 1.25 of gives an 1/8 wall thickness, sounds right. So you'll want a hose clamp that covers the 1.25 diameter. The clamps on brs are sized based on hose id.

Because hose comes in different wall thicknesses you need to know the hose o.d. and the smallest diameter the clamp will achieve.
