Hose from faucet to tank

Is there an easier way to get water from my sink faucet to the tank instead of lugging 5 gallon buckets around from my bathroom to the tank? I add prime to my water and I do NOT use RO DI water. I have a 29 gallon fowlr.

Is there a hose or special siphon or something that I can hook up to my faucet in my bathroom sink to my tank that will make it easier to transport water to my tank rather than 5 gallon buckets?

the kits for water beds work well for this as you can add water and siphon water with this kit. hope this helps!

its been so long since I had a waterbed I don't remember but you could check bed bath and beyond online store and compare the prices.

Aqueon has theirs and Python is the original. Lee's used to also make one if they're still around. It's essentially a waterbed pump attached to a hose attached to a gravel siphon. Great for draining tanks and for filling freshwater. Saves your back.

Go to Amazon they sell them in various lengths. Just search aquarium vacuum hose. But in my house none of my bathroom faucets fit the sink adapter that comes with the set, had to run it to my kitchen sink

I had one like that in an apartment I used to live in. I had to get a "special" adaptor from a hardware store to make it work.

Get some hose and a pump. The piphon drain for those water bed systems used a lot of water to make the siphon work. If you are paying for water, they can get more expensive. Hook up the pump (mj1200) to some hose and drop it into the tank. Run the hose outside or to the sink.

Any hardware store will ave an adapter to hook a hose to the faucet. They are pretty common.

The python is awesome. I use it for my freshwater cichlid tank and it makes my water changes so much easier. It is more expensive than others, but the fittings are solid, so I think it is worth it.

I want to make sure I understand this...

You want a hose (( like the pythons )) to bring water FROM the sink TO your sink, correct?
If so, when do you plan on adding salt to that water? How will you mix it up?

We got a faucet adapter so a garden water hose could be hooked up to the faucet. They are available from home improvement/hardware stores for a buck or so. You an also get an adapter for the clear tubing there also and not use the garden hose.
