Hose size for skimmer outside

The Bubble Magus Curve 5 skimmer I have has an "Air Enter Tube" a little over 1/4" running from the pump to the silencer. If I run this size line from outside into the venturi of the pump, will this be adequate size to help raise the PH? Currently it sits at 8.0 pretty steady and living in Arizona, I cannot keep the windows open.

I can’t give you a definitive answer but I believe yes it will suffice. As long as it is not linked or blocked anywhere and it is not in a place that pesticides or fumes from maintenance equipment will be sucked in you should be fine.

Nothing wrong with 8.0 but it is best to pump air into the skimmer vs. it try to suck air
