So despite my best efforts my tank has gotten ich. I know i want to go fowless for the time required but I have 8 fish in the tank and not sure what is the best approach to hospitalize all of them. I have 2 clowns, 3 chalk bass, 1 coral beauty, and a small damsel. What is smallest size possible to house them for the time i need to administer meds or to TTM?

The biggest challenges you will have will be in ammonia production and oxygen levels (which will help reduce/prevent bacterial blooms). You could likely get by with a 10gal in a pinch if you were ready for daily water changes if needed and used an air-stone or two. But a 20gal+ would likely be easier to maintain over the full term of your DT being fallow.

20+ gallons, with a preference of slightly bigger (30+) if you can swing it.

I used a 40g to QT 9? I think it was... with only a couple of bigger fish most were wrasses.

That makes me feel better. Gonna look for some 30-40 gals
