Hello everyone,

Looking to start a hospital tank in my home for the countless aquariums we have in our home. I just wanted to get some opinions on what others run in their hospitals that has worked well. If possible we would like to run antibiotics as well as copper in this system but not sure if copper is gonna be effective to use with a antibiotic in the same tank. Any thoughts or opinions is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Only run one thing at a time. Meds can mix and have bad results. Also after each med run carbon and do a large water change.

I would go bate bottom and some 4" PVC for hiding places, no rock or sand. Seed your hob filter pad in your DT for biofilter.

My thought was to treat for any possible internal parasites as well as external while being quarantined. Just looking to be cautious as to all possibilities.

I personally don't treat for anything unless I know there is a problem, that's why it's a quarantine tank, I watch my fish for almost 3 weeks and also same foe my corals in separate quote tine tank.

I run prazi for everything in QT whether I see anything or not. If something does come up I'll treat for that as well. Also QT for 8 weeks minimum.
