Hospital tank setup

Hey there! I'm trying to setup a hospital tank but I'm not sure if I should put sand, gravel, or rock in it?:/ What do you guys think?

No sand and no rock, and gravel is typically not used in saltwater. Please refer to the thread in my signature about setting up a quarantine tank (pretty much same thing as a hospital tank).
