How does one get it(I understand that its for hospitality, but what exactly), and how often is it given out?

Me posting the definition kinda defeats the purpose, thus, me saying I can tell you but what is the purpose part. Its about simply being nice and welcoming to other members.

I find it funny that certain people get the banner after two months and others get nothing. Good thing they mean nothing to me.

How? It's an honest question. One that I've wondered many times. Objectively it would probably be a post count in the welcome forums, I'm there pretty often. I have also seen the members join and have it very quickly with pretty low post counts. It does not hurt anything to ask and it's not inherently inhospitable.

The whole model gif is a shot at me. He made the direct comment on the thread from when I received the badge. I have been consistently kind and welcoming, and however that process works, was recognized for it. It certainly wasn't for reducing someone's qualities and contributions to their face, nullifying what they add to the community. It's not a beauty pageant. But someone is salty and on a crusade.

Then can we agree that Post was inhospitable (as well as lowbrow and uncalled for if what you think is true, is)?
Wanting to know the level to achieve a badge, which is posted up there like a badge of honor, isn't rattling the cage, simply asking the rules to the game and reinforcing behavior that is being recognized.

The badge is given as people get nominated by others. Of course there are more people worthy of it but we can’t and don’t see everyone. We depend on others to nominate mostly. Thanks.
