Hosting anemone and clownfish

So I took my two clowns out of the DT and hosted them with my rose bubble tip anemone they loved it took the anemone and put the clowns and anemone back in the tank and now they won't touch it. Any idea why? Maybe I'm not being patient enough I just did it today, maybe this has happened to someone else should I try to host them again?

Took my clown months to host, patience grasshopper.

Different environments, they'll get there.

I mean they were both rubbing all on the anemone and loving it as soon as I put them back in the display tank from the container they wanted nothing to do with it seemed odd to me and is frustrating because they are a ***** to catch especially with rock where they can hide lol

I wouldn't worry, they are weird fish. But i think they'll go in.

Good Luck my clowns ignore my RTBA I have tried to get them to read book on hosing but they refuse

Guess it doesn't matter came home today and my anemone had gotten sucked into the power head some how when he wasn't even near one and got shredded to pieces. 150$ in pieces

if your nem went through your power head I would change your water this will be a lot of nem stuff in the tank

So this just happened. They were paired together at my local fish store. Clown hid for about 2 hours. And found his bae in know time
