Is hot glue reef safe? Is it toxic to Acropora? I have recently used it to secure powerheads to their mounts. Lately some of my Acros have begun to STN or have burnt tips.

Sometimes a quick search will be faster than waiting for new responses.

The polymers used in hot melt glues will be reef safe.

That is a different question whether they will hold in your application, however. Some may not hold long term underwater unless the surfaces being glued have a lot of roughness to key into.

While this is true we also value new questions as a forum even if the topic has been discussed. It helps foster new discussion, educates others who may have not been looking for this specific answer, and also serves as a way for new people to make their first post or thread. :)

Absolutely safe. Just mind the leftovers when gluing as those then look terrible under water :)
