So I did alot of searching online about the best way to get rid of aiptasia from my 34 gallon solana cube tank and I came across a post on a guy using boiling RO water and a syringe to kill aiptasia. Just like everyone that is going to read this I thought what an idiot there is no way that will work. To my surprise this worked amazingly I was really amazed this method works. I put some RO water into a microwave safe bowl then put it in the microwave for 3 minutes until it was boiling, then used a childrens Tylenol syringe to pull up water. I put the syringe right over the aiptasia and slowly let the water out, then repeated like 2-3 times on each aiptasia. I went from having 30 or so Aiptasia to having literally 4 aiptasia which i plan on killing tonight. Thought i would share this and see what people thought.

I have heard it worked, but never tried it myself. Maybe I will try it next time. I usually use apistaiaX.

That's what I have always used in the past but since I live in Clovis, NM and we literally have one pet store in a hundred mile radius that doesn't carry anything.

hey Chris Im from Playas/Animas NM and the pet store you are talking about is :) mr aquarium in Lubbock? nice to meet a local. I go fly drones constantly in Ruidoso its so fun/.

I never heard of lemon juice, does it affect anything since it is really acidic? I may give it a try a person can never have to many ways to do anything.

We actually have a small pet store here in clovis but they carry the bare basics. I have never flown a drone but that sounds pretty awesome. I am actually about to move to Kansas to take over the Rib Crib in Salina.

It really works as long as the water is really hot, I noticed once I got down to the last little bit of water I had to hit the aiptasia a few more times. I honestly thought there was a 2% chance it might work but I gave it a try since it was free.
