Hot water though RO/DI unit

Hi everyone!

So, my ATO reservoir was dry, and my wife turned on my RO/DI unit to fill it back up, when i came home i saw that she has been running straight hot water through it. Is that bad? It only has been going through it for about 40 mins.

I believe that can damage the membrane, but I don't know how long it would take. I'd suggest watch your TDS and hopefully it'll be ok

Not sure if its bad. It might affect the membrane. But ro/di are made to be run with Cold water only.
