The weather in England has been quite hot these few days and the water temperature has been reaching over 29°c. According to google this is too hot. How can I cook the water down?

Freeze water in ziplock bags. Place one in sump. When it thaws, pull another and place in sump and return thawed one to freezer

This would work well especially if you have an ATO (Auto Top Off), place a fan blowing over the surface of the water. Often used to try and hold a temp, and maybe lower it a little. You could also have the ATO water cooled as mentioned with Frozen bags of water, bottles both with RODI (Reverse Osmosis Deionized) water, or even freezer packs.

Be very careful not to drop the water temp down too fast more than 1-2 degrees in an hour or two, and make sure that it is mixing well, so not to have areas of extreme cold water if using any frozen or extremely cooled products.

Fan blowing over your water is your best bet regardless if you have an a.t.o
This will drop the tank 2-3 degrees easy.
This is known as evaporative cooling so you will need to top off more yes.
