I actually wanted to see any hobbiest colonies of it just in comparison because of how great yours looks haha. Confused why it isn't the more popular of the jawdroppers the colors are insane.

Mine came from a group pack from unique when that, the E.T acro first dropped. I have seen people post the e.t acro as a jd jr before, around the time it came out.

I'm not one to speculate, corals look wildly different In other people's tanks lighting grow different color different.

Tsa looks how mine first grew out, super similar characteristics to the tgc inner core. I spend 2 years looking to see if people actually grew it out Into a colony for that reason. Mine is all growth tips growing like crazy, many acros contain a different variety of colors on more mature skin opposed to freshly produced flesh.

Doesn't mean it's not the piece, the crazy colors are aged flesh. Like I said mine looked like an inner core growing out. I moved it into way higher light, and just took off for me. I think its just a different variant of something similar to it.


What one would notice is the growth tips. In my tank they lack the yellow ring at the end of the corallite, theyres like 2 growth tips that have it. I gave a buddy a bank piece to grow out, which his entire colony has the yellow rings on the growth tip.

Danny's origonal frags all Contained that yellow ring on the growth tip. I'm not sure if they have the colony anymore.

Either way they all look extremely similar. Perfect example of a coral that photography, lighting, coral grown under that lighting, all can wildly vary. Just need to have that eye when shopping.

Unfortunately the Fruitloops was one of the nice one's affected by that toxic tank incident last year. Fortunately a few polyps were saved and all that I have now is an almost encrusted frag plug. Not much to show sadly.
