I know most vendors still choose to use a 2-3 hour doa guarantee but then there are better vendors that give many days.

Why do people still buy from those that offer these sub standard hourly doa guarantees whether it be a reefer or another vendor?

I believe a lot of it has to do with price and availability. There are some vendors I trust well and they have the shorter window.

I will agree, it is very nice to see some of them offering 14 day guarantees.

On a similar note, I believe the good guys will still help you out in some way if there is an issue shortly after their deadline.

I won't buy from places that have hrs on their guarantee. I've had coral from WWC that pooped out on day 9 and they ALWAYS have made things right. When you're spending $$$$$$ a guarantee of at least a week is worth it's weight in gold.
