House plants, CO2 and pH

Would house plants reduce nighttime CO2 and thereby increase aquarium pH?

I am pretty sure the effect would be tiny unless you had a forest in the room lol

Right, the effect is too small to measure via reef tank pH.

The source of Co2 (people and pets breathing, gas stoves, etc.) are vastly higher than house plants can take up unless it is a greenhouse setting.
