Houston, we got phyto on tap

posted this under my build thread, but here it is for those who don’t want to browse through 8 pages of the build.

Decided to start making my own phyto using culture from Mercer of Montana. Had some leftover LED strips from the cabinet build, the rest is straightforward, but happy to answer any questions. 2.5g container, 1.018 salinity, led timer is 16 hrs on, 8 hrs off, 5ml of f/2 fertilizer. Cant wait for phyto on tap.

I'd love to set this up but I live in Hong Kong and not sure how to get hold of the starter culture. Any ideas?

If there's a public aquarium maybe ask them and see if they know of any labs that culture?
