looks good. i am redoing my 3 year old aquascape this weekend (pulling everything out and redoing).. while trying to keep fish and coral all alive and happy.

purely preference and nothing more, but have you watched the BRS aquascape videos? I really like the idea of keeping most of the rock off the sand... its more work, but better for flow and cleaning.

It's an interesting shape. I am a fan of vertical walls. I'd plan on having a powerhead blowing behind it. I had a Nuvo 20 and it got tight against the back wall quickly. The dual returns should take care of any dead spots in the front.

Yes i have seen the videos, and i wish i did that concept now you mentioned it... ill never be 100% satisfied with my scapes

I feel like I am always a jerk on this sub forum... not intentional but here it goes:

I feel like you have a ton of rock for a 20G tank and having the majority of the rock on the sandbed will create many issues for you later. Visually it looks great but not sure how functional it will be. The two inner most points will be pockets for detritus and will make achieving flow fairly hard.

The best questions to focus on when aquascaping are:
Where am I placing corals? (varying heights, flow and islands for invasive/stinging corals)
How will I maintain my glass and sandbed?
Does the scape allow for hiding places for fish and inverts?

lol, me too as I'm not part of the "looks great" crowd.
I figure if someone asks I'm giving my op...... unless it's already cemented and in water.
then I have no opinion.

and my first question is always "what are your livestock intentions?" which includes corals. can't give advice without that info.

all the above is just my op.... not necessarily those of other reefers or R2R.
