Hi UK reefers. Hope everyone is keeping well in these troubled times.
Not much discussion from our side of the world so I thought I would check in to see how you all are.
Really hoping we can get a bit of a chat going to open the UK forums a little more. Myself I’m a bit jealous of what seems to be the massive tanks a lot have in the US.
How about we make a start with what we are working with? Or what we would like
I have a modest AquaOne 180 (about 40 gallons) which has been a great start to the salty world but I would love to move up to maybe a Waterbox Reef 130.4.

Hi Jim,
From the other side of the pond.

I had a beautiful 40g tank which was a serious downsizing from what I had before. At one point I had 4 tanks and a total of 600+ gallons of salt water in the house! But when the 40 was so colorful, I had to step it up and I replaced it with a DIY 90g tank (36"x 30" 20"). Now I have to wait a year or two for it to get as grown up and colorful as the old 40g was.

This is the old 40g near it's peak.

And this is the new 90g just getting started.

Hi all I’m working with an old red sea max 250. No the biggest nor the smallest I’ve had. It’s an ok size but I think I still lean towards wanting bigger. At present I can’t unless I keep it in the hall. I have reinforced the living room floor where I once had a 400 litre but my eldest has returned from uni and is at present occupying that room. So I’m gonna build up what I have with the plan to upgrade in around two years

Just a little 24G here from all pond solutions. Not really looking at a future upgrade but if I did I would probably go 3 or 4ft long. I keep soft corals and just started adding fish.
