I’m starting my sump soon... and I’m using a baffle kit from Fiji Cube to complete it. They recommended 100% silicone, although I don’t want to risk anything, especially lives of my fish.

What do/did you use for putting together your sump and should I use this stuff??

The pic is taken on the blanket on my bed, so don’t mind the fuzzy brown thing behind the tube lol

Hold on.... I just saw it says “Not for underwater/aquarium use”

Okay... new plan then... I gotta get some silicone that’s reef safe now... does anyone know of a good brand?? Or a good place to get it?

OP, the Type 1 silicone you have in pic is fine to use. Just mke sure you allow it to fully cure before use. The "Not for aquarium use" is so GE doesn't get a claim against them if someone's DIY tank leaks & fails. HTH
