Can you change the ppt to specific gravity on your dashboard ? I always go on SG normally

I had to do a manual calibration of my salinity probe before it started to read correctly, try this as this is what I did and it worked for me thanks to @rkpetersen.

Help! pH probe and Salinity probe not accurate.

Hello, I just purchased 2 brand new probes. Conductivity and double jointed pH probe. They both are plugged directly into my Apex 2016 unit. They are off by about .1 pH and 1 ppt respectively. I have a portable pH tester and it reads .1 higher every time. I have a PM1 on another tank hooked up...

When you calibrate, you do need to be careful to wait until the readings really do settle down, as in stop changing for long periods of time (I wait minutes). That, and look out for the cross talk between the wires that someone else mentioned, and also making sure that your probe isn't collecting air bubbles wherever you have placed it.

It is also really important that the pH probe always stays wet, even if you have it out of the water for only a short time.

Also,temp acclimate the solutions.
