I would shy away from unknown brands if I were you. I do know a guy that makes one called seastar lighting. He sent me a demo model awhile back for a product review I need to work on and it worked really well. They are inexpensive and well made.

Its not that they are cheap, its they aren't using the correct LEDs for you. I'd not get a unit thats not at least got 1w LEDs. You didn't state the wattage of yours but I've seen the Lumens unit, they do sell a unit with 1W LEDs.

I have an 165w aquamana led (although I think its actually around 125w or so) was 120$ its been dropped about 5 feet ,soaked , ect and its still bangin away. Great light plenty bright great color no gimmicks though just on off switches and dimmers. Has a year warranty as well. it is ugly however and a little noisy but who cares as long as your tank is happy. Theres a newer prettier model as well for a few buck more. Good luck!

So I called the guy and he said its 2W

Okay so the light has 30 white led and 3 actinic led. The wattage is 2W. I have a 10 gallon reef. All I want is my zoanthids to glow.... It's also 25$... worth buying?

No. It is the actinic or blue LED's that will give your Zoas/ corals that glow or pop. With that many whites versus actinic you won't get what your looking for.

Even though the can have a switch that only turns in the blue

Your better off getting an adjustable unit, that separates the whites and the blues, that has the same amount of both.

But you'll only have 6w of blue. Pretty useless. Bottom line, don't waste your money on the unit. You'd be better off with a Par38. At least your getting 3w diodes, better mix.
