Looking for an easier way to mix salt. Been doing it by the cup. When you mix large quantities i lose track of how many cups to go! I see the instructions mention pounds. Are you using scales? If so what kind/size. Do you get a good idea of how much needed on first batch and then get a container and make a mark on it; like a 5 gallon bucket? Give me a couple tips

I use a bathroom scale to measure water and a kitchen scale to measure salt.

Put water in a jug/bucket on the scale
Multiply weight of water (in pounds) by 14.5 to get grams of salt (for salinity I use)
Use kitchen scale to measure grams of salt.
Check salinity at end just to make sure.

How much saltwater are you mixing at once?
I assume more than I do.

For 10-15 gallons at a time, I have a clear, plastic, 5 cup measuring vat.
1 or 1.5 vats full and I'm done.

Quick search, I'd be thinking something like this (bigger than mine):

10 cup measuring container

i do test my water afterwards though so i could be wrong

i checked my sheet and it was 2 cups

..... I use an old crappy faded measuring cup and a bucket, put a couple scoops in, let it mix w a pump, if it's high I'll split the buckets and add ro, use a hannah or Milwaukee (that's not spelled right) to check
