How bad is this seam?

Hi Everyone,

After 9 months of lurking on this forum I finally decided to start a reef tank. I just purchased a Red Sea Max Nano, and as I was unboxing it I noticed the silicone on the bottom looks like it was shredded and gouged. Please see pictures for reference. How concerned should I be? I am quite inexperienced with this and am hoping to get some guidance. Thanks very much in advance for any help this community can provide!

Have you contacted Red Sea? That would be first on my list if this was a new purchase.

Third one ive seen and hopefully not a sudden trend of poor worksmanship and lack of inspection

I agree with the above. Definitely contact RedSea and see what they say. I wouldn’t trust it at all
