How big are your turbo snails?

This guy has been in my tank almost 7 years. He was a fraction of this size when I got him. As he has gotten older I only see him after lights out but managed to take a couple of pictures of him with a flash light.

That's a large blood shrimp on his back.

I have no idea how he hides in the rock work at night. Can't believe he doesn't knock stuff over all the time.

How big/old are yours?

Thats a big one for sure, my largest is probably 1/2 that size! Won't be long and you will be able to throw a saddle on it!

Agreed with HD mine are only about hald that size. I do have a Margarita snail thats about that size though.

I have a few that came that size from reefcleaners. They're heavy enough to cause my MP40 wet sides to spin around until they reach the bottom and sag a bit from center. But not an issue really. It always worries me watching these guys cruise right up against my smaller unencrusted SPS frags but they somehow never seem to knock anything over.

I had one on here but it won't upload, I'll take another when I get the chance. He dwarfs my medium one, chomps right through nori sheets

Evidently not, he's the Ever Ready bunny of snails...survived every mistake I've made. The only snails I lost with the dinos were two trochus. Nerites, ceriths and two kinds of conchs did fine.
