Green RFA from @Cultivated Reef

It has grown to around 4", almost 5" when really flat. It is a light loving RFA, as opposed to all my others that like laying flat in the sand or rocks. This guy really stretches up (It is under a Noopsyche mini running at 50/50/18 BVW, so PLENTY of PAR).

How big can these get?

I've heard anecdotal evidence that very old specimens from shallow water can be nearly 8 inches across. However, 4-6 inches is much more likely for green/brown ones, with the "ultras" rarely getting over 4 inches. I'd say that yours is about maxed out, but it could still grow a few inches with luck and lots of TLC. Very nice specimen, btw.

I’ve got one Huge RFA. It was a dent size when I received it but it has spread out. I’m shocked on how big it is since I have several that aren’t close to its size. . Ill go take a pic

Yeah this one is light purplish. I noticed it wasn’t fully spread out. Then it started to move weird. Then I realized a turbo snail was cleaning underneath it. Lol Gere it is but again not in full spread mode. It was the last one added near this RFA garden and it’s taking the prime real estate.

Thanks! That sounds pretty awesome--glad I'm upgrading to a 40L. I like this RFA. It seems very happy accepting food, too.

That's a great RFA cluster you've got there, and nice nem crab! Mine just took residence on a red RFA.

You can tell all the others would fit inside the purple RFA. I’ll post pics of a few others I have but the purple one is definitely the biggest.
