I have a nice BTA doing great on a central rock of the tank, but some weeks ago I had to rescape the tank and moved some rocks around. The rock on which BTA is ended up in back of the tank with the nem towards the back glass. I hoped that being a shader area will move back to lighter area, but is not the case. Seems that like that spot as well.
Basically I have a nice BTA, but is almost invisible - I have to stick my nose to the side of tank to see if still ok.
How can I move it, or at least to convince her to move by herself?? I am a bit afraid to force it out to not hurt.
Thanks.

I have the same situation. I have not been able to get my BTA to move. I've tried more light, less light, shade, more flow, less flow...all with no success. I have just accepted it and maintain hope that someday he'll move to a more viewable place in the tank. Wish I could help, but they can be very stubborn. lol

Here is what I did.
RBT top left with crab in it.

First I tried to cover with pic and was unsuccessful.

Then I covered with a rock and stuck an air hose in its hole. A couple of days later I lifted up the rock and he had moved it was pretty easy to get off the rock then.

This took me about a month to get him to move. Good luck

I've had success with pointing a powerhead right at the anemone to make them move. Sometimes within the day. They do have minds of there own tho, good luck.

Beautiful tank

Thank you all,
next week I will not be around, but once back I will try out those nice tips - one or the other may work. I have powerful powerheads, so I may convince a bta with one of those :), otherwise will try out shading method.

Try a more powerful one. If u blast em with water to where they don't like it, I've seen em move. Like I said earlier that they do have minds of there own.
