How can I get rid of this algae?

Looks more like detritus than algea to me

What are your water parameters? Is this a newer tank setup? I see some red/purple with the light green, are you getting the green all over your tank or is it just starting? Or is that from your lights? If your tank will support it you might consider something to stir up your sand.

The red and purple is from the lights. The gray algae is what im asking about.

Ive had the tank for 2 years, but the sandbed is only 3 months old.
